🔍 What data does Assessain actually collect?

Very little. We’ve built Assessain to collect only the information that’s absolutely necessary.

For teachers:

• Your email address (used for login and communication)
• Optional: your name, if you'd like a personalized experience

For students:

• No accounts, no emails, no personal data.
• You upload scanned worksheets — and that’s it. If a student name appears, it's part of the scan. You can use initials, ID numbers, or even leave names off entirely.

Assessain is designed to evaluate answers, not identities.

🧠 How does the AI process student work?

When you upload student worksheets, our AI reads the written answers — not who wrote them.

• The AI analyzes only the content of each response.
• Student names are not required in any part of the AI process.
• You stay in full control over what gets uploaded and stored.

This means you can use Assessain confidently even in schools with strict privacy policies.
